Our local Clifton Co-Op Hospital is a private (not for profit) organization, governed by a Board of Directors, from the local community.
In 1949, the present hospital co-operative was formed and the hospital was built in the present position at 20 Norman Street in 1972. Today the Complex which consists of the Hospital, Nursing Home, Hostel,Vedette Villas and Clifton Medical Practice is one of the largest employers in the town with over fifty full and part time staff.
The hospital has twelve private beds and adjoins the medical practice.
